Tulani is a powerhouse R&B singer, songwriter and harpist whose music colors outside the lines.  She can’t be put in a box!  Her voice, soulful and powerful has been described as “rich as coffee.” Her music, a style Tulani refers to as “New Century Groove,” is a blend of pop, funk and soul, heavily influenced by the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, and described as “old school meets the future.” 

 A high energy and electric entertainer, Tulani, has toured internationally with Lady Gaga and has opened up for Chaka Khan, Angie Stone, Bobby Caldwell, Eddie Levert, Stokley, Musiq Soulchild, as well as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. Tulani was the One MusicFest "Searching for the One" winner where she performed on the Main Stage in a lineup that included Andra Day, Outkast, CeeLo Green, Erykah Badu, Ice Cube, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, BJ the Chicago Kid, A$AP Ferg, Gary Clark, Jr. and Jazmine Sullivan. Tulani was also the ATL Live On The Park "Pepsi Artist of the Month.” A sought after performer, Tulani was handpicked by Cathy Hughes to perform a tribute for Cathy Hughes at the naming of the Cathy Hughes School of Communication at Howard University and she also performed at Phillips Arena on the same bill as Wyclef Jean, Jill Scott, and Estelle. 

In addition to being a headline performer for major brands such as Toyota and Jack Daniels, Tulani has been performing at arenas, theaters, clubs, and festivals throughout the country. She performed at MAJIC 107.5 Wednesday Winddown at Centennial Park in Atlanta, GA, and the BET Music Matters Showcase at SOB's in NYC. She was also selected as the resident artist at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club in Maryland and has performed at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Howard Theatre, and Arena Stage in Washington, DC, Lakewood Amphitheater, Opera and Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA, the Tobin Center in San Antonio, TX, the Faena Amphitheater and Ice Palace in Miami, Fl and Joe’s Pub in NYC to name a few. 

Tulani grew up surrounded by music.  As a kid, she grew up singing solos in choir and began studying harp soon after.

On TV, Tulani has performed on ABC, and CBS and in print, she has been featured in Marie Claire Magazine, Sheen Magazine, Rolling Out Magazine and in numerous teen and women’s magazines. Her radio coverage includes V103, Sirius XM, and MAJIC 107.5fm.

Her album “Unscripted” was just released and is receiving rave reviews.
