Tulani is known for her innovative spin on the harp, choosing to cover songs by the likes of funk singer James Brown instead of classical artists such as Beethoven. She explains her approach to the harp and how she developed a passion for music.

Tulani is a powerhouse R&B singer, songwriter and harpist whose music colors outside the lines.  She can’t be put in a box!  Her voice, soulful and powerful has been described as “rich as coffee.” Her music, a style Tulani refers to as “New Century Groove,” is a blend of pop, funk and soul, heavily influenced by the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, and described as “old school meets the future.”
