Tulani is a powerhouse R&B singer, songwriter and harpist whose music colors outside the lines.  She can’t be put in a box!  Her voice, soulful and powerful has been described as “rich as coffee,” Her music, a blend of pop, funk and soul and heavily influenced by the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s has been described as “old school meets the future.” 

 A high energy and electric entertainer, Tulani, has toured internationally with Lady Gaga and has opened up for Chaka Khan, Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild, as well as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and has performed with Omari Hardwick star of hit show "Power" for Icon Talks in Washington DC. Tulani was the One MusicFest 2016 "Searching for the One" winner where she performed on the Main Stage in a lineup that included Andra Day, Outkast, CeeLo Green, Erykah Badu, Ice Cube, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, BJ the Chicago Kid, A$AP Ferg, Gary Clark, Jr. and Jazmine Sullivan.  She was also chosen as the August 2016 ATL Live On The Park "Pepsi Artist of the Month."  Recently, she performed at Phillips Arena on the same bill as Wyclef, Jill Scott, and Estelle for a birthday celebration for Ambassador Andrew J Young.  She has performed for tributes honoring rapper Fabolous, and The Reverend Jesse Jackson, and was handpicked to perform a tribute for Cathy Hughes at the naming of the Cathy Hughes School of Communication at Howard University.  Wowing audiences across the world, Tulani performed for Toyota in Ft Lauderdale, Fl, Jack Daniels in Miami, Fl,  MAJIC 107.5 at Centennial Park in Atlanta, GA, the BET Music Matters Showcase at SOB's in NYC, The Artscape Festival in Baltimore, MD and she has performed on major stages such as the Tobin Center in San Antonio, TX, the John F Kennedy Center, The Howard Theatre, and Arena Stage in Washington, DC, Lakewood Ampitheatre in Atlanta, GA, Faena Amphitheatre in Miami and the Fillmore in Maryland to name a few. 

Tulani grew up surrounded by music.  Her late father was a professional jazz guitarist and songwriter, who trained and mentored Tulani in music. As a kid, she grew up singing solos in choir and began studying harp soon after.  After honing her singing and harp skills, Tulani linked up with gifted Producer, Geno Regist and together they crafted her sound - a sound Tulani refers to as "New Century Groove." The debut single of this sound is Tulani's single "Let's Dance." Produced by Geno and co-written by Tulani and Geno, "Let's Dance" is an uptempo song that's fun and fresh... It's retro with that new school flavor!   

Tulani's music has been played on V103 fm, MAJIC 107.5fm, Sirius XM and Pandora.
